The curse of genius

It’s in the essence of genius to be afraid of losing, losing authenticity;
the flexibility to draw from the micro as much as the macro-cosm
{ just swap an a for an i }
which reflects in the eyes of the public, and
comes with ever greater expectations.

This isn’t so much a result of aging, as a lifelong fear that comes with walking
the line between genius and madness | Pushing this line
is what has brought mankind to the brink of existence.

Nothing is ever sufficient, nothing will satisfy the thinking mind
beyond average intelligence.
