The tooth fairytale

What is it with dentists? When they find a filling they treat you like a third world immigrant. Their smile fades and the guilt that you have mis-used your body in the most gross manner eats you from within.
Or at least until your next meal.

My (still alive) grandfather has no teeth in his mouth and is the most active person I know in our family.

As I stand in the sun the nearest station can offer I close my eyes from all life that ends. The pigeons swinging on branches opposite just hatched from their eggs and now dully strive for the nearest green. I wonder if they too remember this incredible darkness before they were born. Then I see that this is light – this is the other side of the cosmos. Incredible I made it here.

I can’t live anymore if I stop swinging.
