Sometimes, against (most) all odds, you will lose what you have loved most, or what has loved you most in return.
The older you get, the more you realise that love is by no means enough for anything out there to survive. It needs more, it needs to be easier, easier accessible and comfortable for the rest of your life.
And people seriously give up on their happiness for comfort, for what they have known many years (yes, I’d give my last shirt for Kinder chocolate, but…priorities have to be set, I understand).
It makes them lazy (not always fat) but definitely stops them from seeking out new opportunities. And once a new opportunity falls into their lap, they return to darkness, despite that they are afraid of the night.
We all want to be remembered.
Do you want more than watch yourself fade away though.
